Translation Services: translations from Latin and Norman French

Many documents were not written in English before 1733, making several very useful sources inaccessible to local and family historians with little or no Latin.

We provide translations of a range of documents, such as marriage allegations and bonds, bargain and sale record, deeds, charters, writs, inquisitions and manor court records.

With years of experience researching records written in Latin, we can provide translations of an entire roll of court records, or of a few lines at the beginning of a bond, or in the probate clause attached to a will.
